Thank you for your interest in making a CITC investment in our community. Your contribution to Nuestra will add to the statewide and nationwide efforts to address the racial wealth gap, keep Boston neighborhoods affordable, and address a wide range of chronic social issues that impact the city’s quality of life.

For every $1,000 you donate, you can get back 50% as a state tax credit—or as a cash refund if you have no tax obligations or are not a Massachusetts taxpayer. For example, a $10,000 donation would result in $5,000 coming back to you, effectively doubling your impact. Nuestra will do the paperwork for you, and you will receive a certificate to use when filing your taxes.

CITC enables local residents and stakeholders to work with community development corporations (CDCs) to improve economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income households across the Commonwealth by partnering with nonprofit, public, and private entities. Donors can be individuals, corporations, foundations, or nonprofits. Since the credits result in funds paid directly to you, you can be located in Massachusetts or out of state.
