Your contribution to Nuestra will help close the racial wealth gap, keeping Boston’s inner-city neighborhoods affordable, while addressing a wide range of social issues that impact the city’s quality of life.

The CITC program enables local residents and stakeholders to work with community development corporations (CDCs) such as Nuestra to improve economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income households across the Commonwealth by partnering with nonprofit, public, and private entities. Donors can be individuals, corporations, foundations, or nonprofits.

For every $1,000 you donate, you get back 50% as a state tax credit—or as a cash refund if you have no tax obligations or are not a Massachusetts taxpayer. For example, a $10,000 donation would result in $5,000 coming back to you, effectively doubling your impact. Nuestra will do the paperwork for you, and you will receive a certificate to use when filing your taxes.
