The Nuestra NeighborWorks Homeownership Center works to make the dream of homeownership accessible to all Bostonians. Our team of housing specialists and foreclosure prevention advocates offers a wide range of high-quality services, including:
- Foreclosure Prevention Counseling - 100% free - one-on-one assistance to help homeowners weather tough times without losing their homes, including help with loan modifications, budgeting, reverse mortgages, lender negotiation, referrals, and more
- First-Time Homebuyer Courses - 100% free - group classes that cover the basics of finding, purchasing, and maintaining a home and help students obtain lower-cost loans
- HECM Counseling - Receive one-on-one counseling that will provide critical information concerning a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM), the only reverse mortgage insured by the U.S. Federal Government.
- Home Improvement Assistance - guidance and referrals to help homeowners make vital repairs, including energy upgrades

The Homeownership Center is located at 54 Warren Street in Dudley Square, Roxbury, across the street from Nubian Notion and steps away from the Dudley bus station. We are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with later or earlier appointments available upon request.
