We operate a variety of programs and projects to further our mission and priorities. Our community programs are organized under three departments:
- The Real Estate Development department acquires and develops existing properties and vacant land to provide affordable housing and preserve the physical character of our neighborhoods.
- Nuestra's Community Organizing and Resident Services programs mobilize community members to take shared action in addressing neighborhood concerns and providing programming, advocacy, and referral services to residents of Nuestra-owned housing developments and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Our Nuestra NeighborWorks Homeownership Center provides a comprehensive spectrum of services designed to help aspiring and current homeowners and promote neighborhood stability.
Finally, our Asset Management team works behind the scenes to ensure that Nuestra's housing developments stay affordable, well-maintained, and beneficial to the broader community. The Asset Management team also provides comprehensive management services to other nonprofits in the greater Boston area.
