Nuestra is HUD-approved to provide counseling to homeowners seeking a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM), a product designed to help senior homeowners remain in their home.  A HECM, available to seniors who are sixty-two years or older, is the only reverse mortgage product insured by the U.S Federal Government.  To qualify for a HECM loan, you must participate in one-on-one counseling to review your financial situation, the details and risks of the program, and whether or not there are other options available to you that would better address your needs.
